Local Assistance Board
The board addresses the settlement and relief of the poor and in respect to financial assistance to needy persons.
Responsibilities
The Local Assistance Board shall perform all of the duties imposed by statute, law or ordinance upon the municipality in respect to the settlement and relief of the poor and in respect to financial assistance to needy persons, except insofar as such duties are committed by statute to specially designated officials or bodies.
Members
The head of the Board shall be the Director of Welfare.
