2012 Goals:
           *  Update the Recreation Master Plan with the long range goals of the department. Set
            future goals to coincide with the plan.
         *  Plan and implement a Healthy Worker Program for the Township
         *  Review programs and search for ways to make them more cost effective.
         *  Design a survey to ask the residents about programming needs.
         *  Improve the amount of information posted on the department website.
         *  Create an online system for Maplewood, South Orange, and the School system that will
            schedule all fields and facilities.
         *  Reorganize the department by adjusting the staff for superior response times, 
            communications, and customer service experiences.
         *  Submit for grant funding with the "Kanka Foundation". This would pay for both Federal and
            State background checks for all volunteers in the township for one year.
         *  Work with engineering department to help improve DeHart Park.
