The goals of the Tax Assessor's Office are to: 

• Continue fieldwork
• Create added assessments
• Defend tax appeals
• Maintain assessments
• Process deeds and building permits

  
The office will keep up with all statutory requirements and continue to train the assistant to the tax assessor in all areas. We will work closely with Appraisal Systems Inc. to ensure that the residents of Maplewood are well informed throughout the revaluation process.

Property Goals
We will be involved in the thought process of valuing all properties in Maplewood and will be reviewing all aspects of the job, including neighborhood delineation, sales analysis, and land value formulas to ensure future assessment maintenance.
