The Maplewood Health Department provides education and awareness about vaccinations, for all ages. The Public Health Nurses are responsible for conducting annual immunization audits for Maplewood public schools, childcare and pre-school centers as well as monitoring, and conducting case investigations for vaccine preventable diseases to prevent further spread of disease in the community.
The Maplewood Health Department also acts as a community resource to access vaccinations. If you do not have a healthcare provider and need information on free and low-cost pediatric and adult vaccines in the area, please call the Maplewood Health Department (973) 762-8120.
