The New Jersey Department of Children and Families Family and Community Partnerships’ Community Program Directory provides public access to statewide resources designed to support family success and keep children safe.

New Jersey's Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program is a public health nutrition program that provides education, nutritious food and improved access to health care and social services for low or moderate-income pregnant women, new mothers and children younger than five years of age.

The Family Support Organization of Essex County is a family-centered, family-driven nonprofit organization that provides peer support, education and advocacy for parents of children who have emotional, behavioral, mental health, substance use, intellectual and developmental challenges. Our goal is to empower parents and caregivers to take control of their lives by building on their strengths and supporting them as needed. NJ Helps will help you determine if you are eligible for food assistance (SNAP), cash assistance (WFNJ/TANF or WFNJ/GA), and health Insurance (NJ FamilyCare/Medicaid). From there you can apply for services or learn about additional resources.
