The Township of Maplewood is seeking a Facilities Manager to maintain municipally-owned recreational facilities. The ideal candidate for this position is hardworking, detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, and a holds themselves to a superior standard of cleanliness. Strong janitorial experience is essential.
Under the direction of Department of Community Services Director, the Facilities Manager will supervise a team of part-time Building Attendants to ensure that facilities are properly maintained for an ever-changing schedule of activities. The Facilities Manager will be required to manage and motivate the staff through a continuous process of instruction, evaluation, and training in order to establish best practices and guarantee compliance with Township rules and regulations.
The position requires flexible work hours that includes nights and weekends. Work schedule will vary week-to-week based on activities at Township facilities. Each work week will consist of 40 hours over a 7 day period.
