Where can I apply for Recreation and Cultural Affairs Program Assistance Fund?

The Maplewood Department of Recreation and Cultural Affairs offers a variety of programs and activities for community residents. Some funds are available each year to assist those residents who can demonstrate financial need and/or hardship for youth programming. Completion of an application does not automatically assure an award. Awards depend on availability of funds and are awarded on a first come, first served basis. All information will remain confindential.

To apply:

1) Please review the Eligibility Guidelines and Application Procedure

2) Next, fill out the application attachment below. You may either print this and mail it to Maplewood Recreation Department at 574 Valley Street, Maplewood, NJ 07040 or fill out/ save and email to  JMiranda@twp.maplewood.nj.us 

Applicants will receive notification or an update of their status within one week of intitial application. For any questions, please contact the Recreation Department at 973-762-8120.
