2020 Electronics Recycling Schedule

Electronics Recycling at 359 Boyden Ave is currently suspended due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Check back for future dates.

Hours: 8:00 am to 12:00 pm  

Maplewood residents may also bring their electronics to South Orange on the collection days held in South Orange at 300 Walton Rd. Maplewood and South Orange residents are welcome to bring their electronic recycling items to our recycling facility year round, in addition to the above collection dates.

Please note that Maplewood accepts electronics on a daily basis, and South Orange residents are also welcome to bring their electronics to Maplewood on a daily basis.

  • Alkaline Batteries                                   
  • Household Hazardous Waste                  
  • Materials Containing Liquids                    
  • Radioactive materials      
  • PCB Containing Materials 
  • CDs, DVDs, VHS Tapes, or Cassette Tapes 
  • Light Bulbs (LED, CFL, Incandescent)
  • Scavenged CRT TV's Monitors (containing broken glass or broken housing)
  • Mercury Containing Devices (thermostats, medical devices, thermometers)
